Power Talk$

Power is something I believe everyone has a desire for in life. The feeling of being better than everyone else gives humans a boost in ego and creates a feeling that is indescribable. Some use their power for good. But it seems like a lot of people use it for their own benefit.

We all know the famous saying "With great power comes great responsibility."

I started the brand "Power" to motivate others to go out into the world and accomplish their goals. In the midst of a pandemic, I feel like many people lost their drive and desire to become the person they want to become. However, even though the world may not seem normal right now, it doesn't mean you can't use it to your advantage. This is the perfect time just to TRY! Jobs are hiring and paying above-normal salaries, technology is becoming more advanced, and people are becoming more reliant on others' services. Think of the world as your sandbox!

Speaking for myself, I never wanted to put myself in a box and just stick to one thing. But oftentimes that's what we're taught in school. Graduate high school, pick something you want to do for the rest of your life at the age of 18, graduate college, and pursue that career until your 60 something years old. That's not how I think and you don't have to be put into that box either. I learned about life so far that your choices are one of the only things you have complete control over. Personally, it's my choice to go and dabble in different hobbies. I love to make videos, play sports, take pictures, and do construction. I'm a 19-year-old aspiring entrepreneur who doesn't let the world tell me how I should live my life; that is the ultimate power to me.

People often associate power with money, big houses, fancy cars, and clothes. But to me... power is a mind state. The quicker you understand that the more joy you will find in life. Power is about having confidence in yourself, going out and living life to its fullest, and appreciating those who love and support you.

The question that I ask you is, What does power mean to you?
